I greatly appreciate this award and want to put high emphasis on how much pleasure I get from working on this blog, which I started in March of last year following my reaching the halfway point in writing my first book, which I was very proud of and excited about…and it made me wish to write even more. So I did. I couldn’t believe how supportive the WordPress community was when I launched my blog. I felt like such a lame amateur at first but quickly realized that each and every one of us is in the beginner seat at first but with patience and perseverance, our blogs can be a great success. It’s very rewarding to see and hear that people care what we have to say and that what we say is being heard by people. We matter to complete strangers because of our writing. Remembering that has gotten me through some tough and unbearable days. And now its time for me to pass the torch down to the next group of award nominees…
